AL or Nothing > Week 6

On to the roundup for the week...

Breaking News: Where have you gone Travis Hafner? The Cleveland Indians are reviewing a lot of tape with Pronk in an attempt to get him out of his funk. Manager
Eric Wedge has dropped him to 6th in the Lineup to try and take some pressure off of his slugger. Hafner is batting.211 with 3 HR's and 17 RBI's. His OBP is only .303 and his Slugging Percentage is down to .342. In 2006 Hafner hit 42 HR's, had 117 RBI's and had a .303 Batting Average. He had a rough 2007, hitting only 24 HR's with a .266 BA. Most thought last year was a just a blip on the radar, but a slow April has his owners and the Indians searching for answers. Yours truly spent $33 on Pronk in an AL League I am participating in this season. Hafner and I have a lot of tape to watch!

Injuries:

Jake Westbrook(SP CLE) - Will be out till late May with a bad back.

Chone Figgans(3B LAA) - Sore Hamstring will limit him this week.

Who's Hot:

Zack Greinke(SP KC) - He is 3-1 with a 1.47 ERA.

Victor Martinez(C CLE) - Leads the AL with a .347 BA.

Eric Hinske(DH TB) - Quite a comeback season for Hinske as he has 7 HR's, 16 RBI's and a .289 BA. He hit a total of 6 HR's last season.

Who's Not:

Howie Kendrick(2B LAA) - Missing way too much time with nagging hamstring injury.

Robinson Cano(2B NYY) - A .157 BA is hard to understand so far from Cano. He must have joined the Travis Hafner club. He is a good buy low candidate.

Richie Sexson(1B SEA) - Still swinging and missing a lot with a .209 BA.

Fantasy Studs(Last 7 Days)

1. Jack Cust(OF OAK) - He went 11-37 with 3 HR's and 4 RBI's.

2. David Ortiz(DH BOS) - Big Papi is heating up, smashing 3 HR's and going 11 for 25.

3. Ervin Santana(SP LAA) - Went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 15 IP.

Fantasy Duds(Last 7 Days)

1. Brian Bannister(SP KC) - He went 0-2 with a 11.17 ERA.

2. Kevin Millwood(SP TEX) - Had an 11.57 ERA in 9 IP but managed to go 1-1.

3. Adrian Beltre(3B SEA) - Went 3-26, a very frigid .115 BA.
